Ever the epitomy of Englishness with an acceptable hint of quirkiness, Paul Smith is a great option for the classic look with a bit of fun. The Autumn Winter 2012 Paul Smith Junior collection draws on the Paul Smith men’s and women’s catwalk collections, with some great break outs for the kids.

And for the first time this season, Paul Smith Junior have introduced a new range of shoes that include classic brogues transformed by adding different hues and animal prints to the standard patent leather, high top sneakers and ballet flats.

All the pieces in the clothing range have names that begin with the letter C, and I’m guessing the team had some great fun coming up with a list that includes obscurities like Cassilde, Cyrano and Cassius. For the boys the clothing focusses on Paul Smith signature jackets and blazers with lovely geometic printed shirts for smart outings. For the casual days, there is a hint of mod with skinny jeans, button up shirts and v-necked cardies. Our eye was also caught by the Ceasar – a great retro parka complete with fur around the hood. In fact, the parka would be perfect for fluxling #2 this winter so I’d better get that on his wish list!

For the girls it’s a romantic charcoal silk dress and pastel pink cardy or a dark grey Chanel style jacket with signature Smith striped poppers. On the casual end there are some lovely ballet inspired jersey dresses with cute prints and knitted dresses. Also loving the Clementine jacket in dark grey velvet with bright red piping! The complete look here is great as Paul Smith Junior team it tomboy like with red skinny jeans and butterfly print blouse.
