Browsing for some interesting fashion to get for the fluxlings this Christmas, I came across this exquisite French label designed by Marie Laure Renier. The collection includes unique pieces for boys, girls and babies, all handmade childrens wear created to order entirely in France.

Marie comes from a family with a history in fashion – her grandmother and great aunts worked in the Dior Haute Couture house, and Marie is inspired by the French couture tradition – and her four children!

The style is traditional, and some of the fabrics are very traditional with Liberty prints and checks featuring. Whilst some of the fabrics also bring a modern contrast with the black and white checks and gold skirt for girls. In fact, the fabric and quality of the finish are key to these beautifully tailored kids clothes

We love the boys collection, with the wide floppy trousers, grandad collared shirts and jackets that are very bohemian, chic and look so comfortable. The collection is completed by key pieces for babies with the same luxury workwear ethic in the little shirts and jackets that work equally well on baby boys or girls.

With country workwear influences, this is a unique range. You get to choose your fabric, and then let Marie’s craftsmanship do the talking.
