Cirque du Soleil anniversary show Quidam – Win tickets to the Premiere

It’s been an amazing three decades for Cirque Du Soleil and hard to believe they are now 30 years old.

In that time they have transformed the face of Circus to the point that we now have a complete different mental image of the art form than we did back then.

Quidam was a hit right from the outset back in 1996 when it debuted in Montreal and will feature an international cast of 52 world-class acrobats, singers, musicians and characters who will get to wear 750 costumes and over 200 hand painted shoes for each performance.

The star of the show now known to millions is Zoë who is bored with life. Her parents don’t seem to notice she’s there and she herself has lost her sense of self. She needs an escape, a refuge and she immerses herself in a rich imaginary world populated by strange and wonderful creatures that help her release her inner self and discover her own special talents. It’s a breathtaking and moving show and in the magnificent setting of the Royal Albert Hall should be quite something to behold.

Well with our rather special competition you could be there at the premiere along with a loved one. Just answer this one simple question: What year did the very first performance of Quidam take place? Please email your answer to editorial@fluxmagazine.com.

The closing date is 3rd January 2014. The prize is for two tickets to the premiere of Cirque Du Soleil Quidam. Show date Tuesday 7th January. Tickets are non transferable and the winner will need to be available on this date and able to travel to the theatre.
