TOMS New Kids Rainboot Collection

TOMS are famous for their unique donation of a pair of shoes to a child in need every time someone purchases a pair of shoes from any of their collections.

Originally known for their espadrille style slip-ons in multi colourways and fabrics, now the not for profit company, based in California, are thinking beyond their own sunshine to help us get ready for winter in the UK. And their usual charitable principle will apply for their new collection of fun rainboots for kids.

Jumping in puddles has been a favourite activity for kids (even before Peppa Pig!) and these perfect little boots will have the kids stomping and splashing with all their might. The boots come in bright colour combinations that tick all the favourites. Of course you can’t beat the fabulous bold red or yellow kids wellies, but mixed with black or white we get an eye-catching contrasting style. We love the camouflage style too adding a more urban edge in traditional army green, or the more unusual mustard.

Playful, high visible and easy to pull on with the handles at the heel, when fluxlings tried these out we loved the fact that the boots have enough room to fit easily over trousers or jeans. And that unlike a lot of wellies, the TOMS rainboots have cushioned insoles, making them comfortable to wear whilst providing a bit more insulation from the cold.

Easy, fast and stylish, we think these new rainboots are great for kids who can’t wait to get out in the wet this autumn. It’s also great to think that while your kids are keeping their feet dry splashing around in the rain or kicking through leaves, you’ve contributed to making sure another child is not going barefoot in a developing country.
