Ladida launch AW13 collection with stunning photo shoot

The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful! In the Ladida house, the storm outside is nothing but a backdrop to the room full of laughter and fun. Meet the Ladida gang. Kids dressed impeccably, and having a whale of a time in this beautiful traditional house, telling stories, jumping on the furniture and looking just amazing.

Captivating children’s fashion boutique, Ladida, is New Jersey based with an international frame of mind. And when we saw them, we knew you’d love to see these charming images of their Autumn Winter 13/14 range that show off the Ladida aesthetics just perfectly.

We think the Ladida buyers have put together an enchanting selection for winter that reflects the exclusive boutique’s understated yet fun style aimed squarely at kids who want to be kids but with perfect style and flair. Their fashion for boys and girls is simple and contemporary, edgy and cosy, quirky and exciting.

For Autumn Winter 13/14 it’s all about seasonal organic colours that are perfect for the winter season – stormy greys, autumnal browns and oranges, seasonal reds and purples – contrasted with flashes of primary electric blue and mustard yellow

Brands are cleverly linked by their thoughtful, dedication to children’s fashion. But beyond that anything goes, with classic luxury labels like Marni and Junior Gaultier featuring alongside emerging, fresh bohemian newcomers like Ketiketa and urban Brooklyn brand Appaman.

It’s a truly international selection. You have New York based Anais & I by Jane D’Haene and Hermine Riegerl Heller famous for their liberty prints and the smart and chic thirty year old French childrenswear couture house, Bonpoint. The French artisan style of CdeC or Cordelia de Castellane alongside Marie Chantal’s design-led, luxury kidswear created by a Greek princess.

Italian Orimusi’s charming objects of pure design against Ketiketa’s bohemian range of Nepalese inspired exotic prints, delicate colour shades, natural fine fabrics. Appaman has a unique Scandinavian perspective on Ameripop iconic imagery, mixing the Norwegian roots of founder, Husman, with Brooklyn street style. Whilst graphic and fun are provided by Spanish Bobo Choses created by designer Laia Aguilar. That’s not to mention Antik Batik, Little Paul & Joe, Lido and Emil & Ida.

The Ladida boutique is a marvelous place to be if you love kids fashion wherever you are this winter. We’ll certainly be stopping by for some hot chocolate and heart warming style!
