The kids fashion world heads to London this weekend for Bubble London, the UK’s leading trade show for kids’ fashion and lifestyle. So excited to see the new styles that have been dreamed up for or little ones for AW 2018!
This season’s line-up of new signings includes flat-caps and scarves from Artimus London; a minimalist and gender-neutral offering from British designed clothing and lifestyle brand, Kidult & Co; children’s luxury hair and skincare by Dandydill Way; contemporary British clothing brand Another Fox, which focuses on abstract prints and fashion basics; and newly launched label Wildchild London, offering genderless, urban and unconventional clothing for 3-9 year olds. Miel à Moi, Grass & Air, Tao & Friends, Fred’s World by Green Cotton and Well Grounded Co add to the growing list of show debuts.
Global players will also make a return to the London show for AW18 including Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Arauto-RAP, Bobux, Kissy Kissy, Kite, Mar Mar Copenhagen, Mayoral, Pretty Originals, Patachou, Wedoble and Weekend a la Mer. This season will see the exclusive launch of Rachel Riley’s Diffusion line as well as her first Home Collection installation. Also catch the gorgeous nightwear offering from Minijammies.
Continuing to add to the show’s diversified line-up is Bump, Bubble’s platform for maternity and nursery collections. This season’s offering includes Bullabaloo, Blossom & Bear, Cradle & Tonic, Mori Baby, Harry & Rose, House of Bibs, Petit Stellou and Squidge & Pip.
A/w 18 is also set to mark the exciting return of Bubble Runway, providing visitors with the opportunity to see the new season’s key collections brought to life. Catwalk presentations are scheduled to run throughout the two-day show – three times on Sunday and twice on Monday – with collections modelled by some special mini celebrity guests.
Other key features for a/w 18 include lively panel discussions and a seminars programme. Retailers can join the debate on the rise in popularity of Gender Neutral Fashion for Kids, moderated by Absolutely Mama magazine’s Fashion Editor Jess Shaltout, taking place at 12 noon on Sunday.
Also making a return for a/w 18 is Bubble’s ever-popular Rising Star competition. Open to new signings showcasing their first wholesale collection, it provides a unique springboard for fledgling brands to boost their profiles, engage with retailers, gain invaluable feedback and potentially win a free stand at next season’s show.
Bubble London takes place on 28-29 January at the Business Design Centre, Islington. For more information on Bubble London see www.bubblelondon.com.
