Shampoodle – the cool clean dog of kids designer fashion!

A new find for fluxlings – we discovered Swedish brand Shampoodle at this year’s Bubble trade show and we’re so glad we did! The range of kookily urban casual clothing comes in sizes from baby to adult – so your kids can really grow with this brand. Plus you can join in the fun too. Kids designer fashion for modern dog lovers!

The range was founded in Sweden by Jakob Wastberg and Helen Swedenberg in 2006, and is now sold in 22 countries including the UK. Shampoodle is all casual separates – great t-shirts, sweaters and tracksuits perfect for running around and having fun in. And the most fabulous trousers and leggings whose cuts are pure fashionista for kids. This is relaxed and fun kids designer fashion at its best, and a lot of the pieces work just as well for boys and girls. So long as they fit the company motto, ‘childishly comfortable clothes’, anything goes.

Each collection is inspired by a poem or a film. The cotton fabric is mainly organic, and Shampoodle aim to make the fabric 100% organic pretty soon. The pieces – especially the pants and leggings – actually have some shape so no baggy no-thought items here. Legs have elastic, thin shins, buttons, pockets. And colours are neutral or super bright.

We fell in love with the Autumn Winter 12 collection featured here, in particular the stripey black and bonfire leggings, and the stone coloured trousers with a great big button up front. Plus I’m sure you’ll agree with us that the young models in their shoot are just so funny and look to be having a great time.

Shampoodle is a brand with a big, ambitious vision so expect to see it in stores near you soon! And if like us you can’t wait for the Autumn Winter collection, you can get the Spring Summer 12 collection online at www.shampoodle.com.
