Estelle & Thild Eco-Organic – kids skincare range for Babies and Children

The Estelle & Thild Baby and Child Ecorganic kids skincare range is a real treat, and we’ve loved trying it out on the fluxlings! Newly available at London’s Urban Retreat, it’s about time the UK market had some real quality skincare for kids.

Always a believer in the importance of what you put in or on your body, I am ultra aware of controlling all lotions and potions when it comes to the fluxlings. This was exacerbated as we had a nightmare with fluxling #2 when he was a baby reacting to things that even I had considered safe bets.

So I was very happy to discover the Estelle & Thild range of baby and child skincare products. Developed after her first daughter was born and Pernilla Rönnberg was disappointed to discover that she simply couldn’t find gentle, organic hair and skin products for children, Estelle & Thild was launched in Sweden in 2007. Pernilla worked with dermatologists and paediatricians to guarantee that everything she put on the market would meet her own high standards. Both the contents and the production methods soon won ecological certification from Ecocert.

The Baby & Child series by Estelle & Thild is certified organic and contains high-quality natural ingredients. Every item is 100% free from perfumes and scents that may cause irritation and allergies. All the products use vitamin-rich oils and plant extracts to improve the skin’s health and vitality. Plus the range doesn’t combine too many plant extracts which meant the risk of skin irritation is reduced – and we’ve found this to be true with our extremely sensitive one year old.

We’ve tried the Body Oil and the Body Wash and loved them. There is no fragrance, no effects, and the products are just lovely on the little ones skin. I have also been trying out the adult range – which does has a fragrance and it’s wonderful too – the Rose Serum is a real luxury! – so if you fancy a treat yourself, this is definitely one to try out.
