Doing it for the boys!

British label Fred Perry announced some exciting news last season with the introduction of a new boys wear range for seriously cool kids.

The brand, named after legendary three-time Wimbledon champion Frederick John Perry, originally came about from Perry’s makeshift, bath towel sweatband, created by Perry wrapping gauze around his wrist when playing to protect the racquet handle from perspiration. Former Austrian footballer Tibby Wegner approached Perry with the idea to design and create a sweatband under the Fred Perry name setting the wheels in motion for the creation of a great British lifestyle brand distinguished by its British mod style and iconic laurel logo.

Following the same aesthetic as the classic adult range, the Fred Perry collection acts is a mini replica specially for 2-8 year olds. Taking the best of British from the brand, the collection features the iconic signature Fred Perry polo shirts in various colour combinations, granddad-esque button up knitwear, zip up sporty track tops and super cool bomber jackets – perfect for all your mini mods! All pieces cry out to be teamed or worn together, while each look can be easily taken from daywear to formal with the casual buttoning of a top button. Effortless cool for kids! The British tennis brand so well-loved by British street culture will now surely be adored by retro loving parents and young boys alike.
