Proving you don’t have to give up your rebellious fashion credentials just because you are pushing a pushchair, Bugaboo and Diesel have bundled their creative, maverick spirit to design a collection that takes the denim brand’s DNA as a starting point.
Two pushchairs are taking centre stage this time round with a complete makeover for the all-terrain pushchair, the Bugaboo Buffalo, and a Tailored Fabric Set for the convertible pushchair, the Bugaboo Donkey.
And because accessories make the difference (who wants to put a twee chaning bag on this fashion statement?), there is a matching denim bag with leather details and functional inside pockets. To complete the range, there is even a special-edition Bugaboo by Diesel Seat Liner, Footmuff, Parasol and Mosquito Net in camouflage print, to add to the amazing Bugaboo range of accessories for babies.
The focus lies on Diesel’s denim heritage; the denim is washed and specially-treated, handripped, distressed, and features paint splatters in various cool blue hues. Over time, the denim will naturally fade, just like your favourite pair of jeans would. The Bugaboo Buffalo by Diesel comes in a blue anodised chassis, washed denim sun canopy, carrycot and seat. And the details have not been overlooked. The central joint, for instance, is based on a rivet found on Diesel jeans and the wheel rims are also coloured blue to complement the denim fabric. Black, leather-look details on the handlebar and seat give the pushchair a rebellious touch. There is also a matching bag in denim and leather which can be hung on the handlebar of the Bugaboo Buffalo.
